Apple is featuring a cheap MacBook Air refurb on its Special Deals site, so if you’re planning to get an ultra-thin, ultra-light notebook, you might want to check out this offer.

Listed on Special Deals with a $749 (€573) price tag, this refurbished MacBook Air originally shipped in June of 2012 sports a 1.7GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of system RAM, 64GB Flash storage, and Intel HD Graphics 4000.

This is Apple’s low-end MacBook Air which uses an 11.6-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit glossy widescreen display, with 1366-by-768 resolution. It also ships with a 720p FaceTime HD camera and offers 5 hours of battery life, according to Apple’s marketing.

The price is certainly appealing, but it’s worth noting that if you pluck out a couple of extra hundred dollars / euros, you can get the brand new model with a whopping 12-hour battery life, a 4th-gen Intel processor, and double the storage capacity.
