Musicians relying on MainStage 3 for their live gigs have a new update to download and install. Version 3.0.3 packs a number of fixes and enhancements that should improve your experience quite a bit.

Apple says this update is necessary because MainStage 3 suffers from bugs that cause the audio input to be unavailable with some third-party audio interfaces. Some users have reported CPU performance spikes and audio dropouts, bugs that version 3.0.3 also patches up.

If your MainStage app unexpectedly quits when opening a Concert, that means you too need this update. So don’t waste another second and download MainStage 3.0.3 to fix your problems.

People downloading MainStage 3 for the first time will need to pay $29.99 / €26.99. Requirements include 4GB of RAM, a display with 1280-by-768 resolution or higher, 64-bit Audio Units plug-ins, a minimum 5GB of disk space (35GB of optional content available via in-app download), and a 64-bit processor.
