Apple has released a new version of iAd Producer, the toolkit that makes it easy for iOS devs to design and assemble rich interactive iAd content without any programming.

“iAd Producer makes it easy for you to design and assemble high-impact, interactive content for iAd,” says the company headquartered at 1 Infinite Loop Cupertino, California.

“iAd Producer automatically manages the HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript behind your iAd to make creating beautiful, motion-rich iAd content as easy as point and click,” Apple states.

The toolkit, available as a free download from Apple's web site, can also be used to greater extent by advanced developers.

In addition to its automized actions, “iAd Producer offers sophisticated JavaScript editing and debugging, along with a powerful extension mechanism that enables them to create and re-use their own page templates and components,” Apple outlines.

The Visual Designer can easily pass as the flagship feature in iAd Producer, as it brings together all of the key elements of your iAd content in a single window.

Users can choose the type of iOS device they're building for, and the software gives them an overview of the structure and flow of the ad.

It also provides a powerful visual editing canvas for each of the individual pages.

According to the Mac maker, iAd Producer version 1.2 improves overall stability and performance and includes a bunch of new new features.

Devs looking to spice up their apps with a bit of iAd goodness now get the ability to implement automatic loading indicators when navigating between pages in an iAd.

Now there’s support for TrueType fonts on devices running iOS 4.2 or later and devs can employ smaller, more efficient banners.

There’s also support for creating custom analytics in the iAd Producer inspector, as well as for multiple users editing a project maintained in an external version control system.

Finally, iAd Producer 1.2 has improved stability and performance for both iAd Producer and generated iAd content, according to the release notes.
