Aperture 3: Support resources is a new technical note on Apple’s Support site that’s about to get quite some attention from photography enthusiasts looking to get support, as well as to find answers to all their Aperture 3 questions.

Apple begins by outlining for every buyer of the Aperture photography software that Canada and the US enjoy 90 days of complimentary software support via telephone from the date of purchase.

For those looking to flip through the manual, they can either choose Aperture Help from the Help menu with the app launched on their Mac, or see the document online.

Apple provides the following address - http://help.apple.com/helplibrary/category/photography - but the link isn’t of much help, as it re-directs customers to the main page of the Apple Support site, which we have for you right here.

Next up are the Aperture 3 Troubleshooting Basics, which delivers “basic troubleshooting steps that should help isolate and resolve the issue. Note that these steps are not for any specific issue and don't cover everything,” says Apple.

The main Aperture 3 Support Page will always be a good place to start answering some questions as well. It holds how-to guides and troubleshooting information for Aperture 3 users.

Users can consult other photography fanatics via the Aperture Support Community platform, “a place you can communicate with other Aperture 3 users. Share tips and solutions or find answers with other Aperture users from around the world,” Apple says.

Rounding up the list of places where you can get your Aperture questions answered, Apple mentions the Mac App Store Support Page (“you might need information about your purchased apps such as Aperture 3,” the company says), and the Print Products support page “for any information or help you may need with prints you order from Apple.”
