The company developing the Mac operating system has launched a survey aiming to determine customer habits in relation to the Support section of its website. Apple wants customers to feel at home on the Support site, encouraging them to freely write what it is they’d like to see changed, or added to this particular area.

“We are always trying to improve our Online Support website to better serve you,” the company states, introducing customers to the first questions of the survey. “Your feedback is extremely valuable to us and we’d like to invite you to participate in this short survey,” Apple adds. The first question is, “Which of your Apple products and/or services were you inquiring about today?” As shown in the screenshot to the left, Apple lists a number of products that participants to the survey must check/tick and move on to the next question.

The Mac maker requires participants to specify the time range in which this product has been in their possession, whether or not they have an AppleCare Protection Plan for this product, the primary reason for visiting the Apple Support site, and whether the service has been of any help. As soon as these questions are answered, customers are also asked to quantify just how likely they think they are to call Apple technical telephone support for additional help on a given issue.

“Overall, how satisfied are you with today’s experience using Apple online Support?,” another question goes. “Including today, how many times have you visited Apple online Support regarding this specific issue?,” Apple is curious to know. Towards the end of the survey, participants are required to specify the Apple Support resources mostly used by them, which include online manuals, the Apple Discussions forums, technical notes/knowledge base articles, and others.

The survey ends with Apple saying, “We are very interested in any additional comments you would like to provide. Please write them in the box below.” This is where you can tell Apple where it hurts you the most, so be sure to fill out that field, if you have any complaints.
