Do you have problems thinking about your work? Do you feel that your eyes run to sides, trying to avoid that display in front of you?
You fix your eyes on the door after less than 3 hours spent at the office? Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with you, although you should try and focus on your tasks, since losing the job before Christmas is not nice at all for you and for those that depend on you. Well, the winter holiday is so close that you can even smell it, and no matter if we're going to have snow or not, one thing is sure: the same as each year, there's going to be a holiday shopping spree, and every producer and retailer should be ready to meet the demands.

As both - producer and retailer -, Apple must ensure its production lines are working as required to fill its stores with the presents that people use to buy, from iPod shuffles to Power Macs. In the last years, Apple Computer learned a lesson: never face the holidays with "enough" products in stores, because enough is never enough this time of the year.

Thursday, Sr. Research Analyst Gene Munster from PiperJaffray said "Apple is showing that its learned to better anticipate seasonal patterns and "is poised to monetize iPod and Mac demand" better this year than it did in the prior two years.", according to Apple Insider's Katie Marsal.

The fact that Apple improved its lead-times can only mean one thing: your only worry should be having the money, because Apple stores should have the products you want available, or at least the chances are much higher than in the past years. Just think about the fact that current lead-times are around 24 hours this month, while the delay average was 1-2 days in 2005, and 6 days(!!) in 2004 (5 days for iPods, 7 days for Macs).

Are you ready? Get set! Go shopping Apples!
