Job posting says “develop new and existing iPhone and iPad Applications”

Jobs at Apple is listing a new opening for “Software Engineer - iTunes Apps.” Apple needs “a proactive, creative-minded engineer to build the next generation of media and lifestyle applications,” according to the job description.

The new recruit will be part of the iOS Applications team within Apple. The task is to create “cutting-edge iOS Applications such as iTunes Movie Trailers, Podcasts and Remote,” according to the advert.

The usual key qualification requirements are dished out, including: object-oriented design skills; experience with Cocoa and the iOS SDK; experience with embedded application UI development; experience with HTTP, JSON, TCP networking, and C and C++ programming languages, the works.

The advertisement also mentions the following, under Responsibilities: “Develop new and existing iPhone and iPad Applications for consumer media.”
