14 DAY TRIAL // Apple has taken "aboard" the (former) executive VP and Chief Financial Officer for United Continental, Zane Rowe.
Previously working at the holding company that owns United Airlines, Rowe is said to be taking up a high-ranking sales position at the Cupertino, California-based iPhone maker.
This is not speculation, but a confirmed fact by the WSJ’s All Things D blog which quotes Apple spokesman Steve Dowling as saying: “We are thrilled that Zane Rowe will be joining us as one of our vice presidents of sales. He built a great team at United and we think he is going to do a fantastic job at Apple.”
No details are offered regarding Rowe’s specific attributions at Apple, once he gets fully instated.
