Apple has issued three short announcements on its Developer site telling developers that it has some new stuff for them to download and use.

Developers can now create Bots for continuous integration in Xcode 5, the latest version of the coding toolset for Mac and iOS applications.

“By taking advantage of the new Xcode service in OS X Server, you can now create bots to automate the integration process of building, analyzing, testing, and archiving in just a few clicks,” Apple says.

Using bots, developers can generate regular releases for their QA team, provide alerts, and test apps for bugs specific to any device.

Programmers are also informed that the new Xcode 5 offers a seamless way to manage development assets. It’s called “Automatic Configuration” and it allows coders to provision, sign, and enable Apple services right inside Xcode.

Lastly, Apple has some new resources on offer for registered developers, including pre-release documentation, videos, and sample code.
