After ending yesterday’s festivities, Apple updated its web site with the official debut of the company’s latest products, a new iPhone (sort of), iOS 5, and iCloud.

Apple calls the iPhone 4S “the most amazing iPhone yet.”

Whether or not fans agree, the phone is packed with Apple’s screaming dual-core A5 chip, a new 8 megapixel camera with advanced optics, and full 1080p HD resolution video recording.

Siri, the intelligent assistant that helps you get things done just by asking, will be an iPhone 4S exclusive feature.

“With the launch of iPhone 4S also comes the launch of iOS 5, the world’s most advanced mobile operating system with over 200 new features,” Apple said. The software is set to ship October 12.

iCloud, the breakthrough set of free cloud services from Apple, also ships on that day.
