The company extends visual overhaul to the Investor relations page

Apple this week extended the flat graphics direction to more areas of its web site, making the company’s aim very clear: consistency across the board. Only a handful of Apple.com pages have yet to receive the overhaul, along with Apple Support Communities.

One of the visibly retouched areas of Apple’s web site is the Investor area, which got a complete overhaul this week. The site features a beautiful banner bearing an image of the Istanbul retail store (for one reason or another) and offers investment-centric information in a very spaced-out manner.

The main topics offered for dissection are the latest investor news (such as the Beats acquisition, the company’s debt offering, and the latest quarterly results). Further on the Investor Relations page, a set of buttons featuring minimalistic graphics act as stand-ins for Stock Price, Financial Information, SEC Filings, Leadership and Governance, FAQ, and Contact.

The bottom of the page features the usual four boxes with the latest environmental initiatives, the company’s supplier responsibility report, press information, and the “About Apple” page.

Some areas of Apple.com are visibly aged, including the Remote Desktop section. The same goes for the company’s forum, Apple Support Communities, which has a dated design compared to the sleeker Apple.com.
