Apple customers wielding a device with the old 3.1.3 firmware installed are reporting that things are back to normal on the App Store front, where they had previously encountered access issues.

Earlier this week, reports that Apple had killed off access to the App Store for iOS 3.1.3 had spawned a bit of panic, prompting some users to consider upgrading. However, that’s not necessary.

According to the latest customer reports, the iPhone makers have fixed the problem which resided not on the users’ devices, but on their backend, apparently.

Apple has also fixed a few other issues with the iTunes Store lately, including some problems with the iTunes Match international rollout, and access to some localized versions of the iOS App Store.
