The iPod "wonder" lasted only for three days. Everything was fine and dandy until the first problems related to iPod nano's proneness to scratches and cracks started to surface.

Although Apple's PR department is top-notch, this time it didn't meet the expectations. Apple admitted only a few days after the first information on the iPod nano's problems that they have indeed a situation and advised owners to return the devices to Apple for replacement.

Apple tried to minimize the problem, claiming that only 1% in 1/10 models have this problem. This statement has enraged users, who say that the number of models with problems is much higher.

Apple blamed the display manufacturer for the problem, but didn't mention its name. The companies which have turned the iPod nano inside out, didn't find out where the displays come from, but it is assumed that Apple is working with at least two producers.

In conclusion, Apple didn't succeed to convince anyone that iPod nano's problem is minor, and this can be easily seen in the 5% decrease recorded by the company's stocks. Meanwhile, www.flawedmusicplayer.com shutdown, its maker stating that it served its purpose.
