Apple has confirmed its rumored October 4 event during which it will "talk iPhone" according to the graphics used for the invitations.

One could go as far as to add the 4 (four) on the Calendar with the 1 (one) missed call on the Phone.app icon to speculate that an iPhone 5 is coming.

As previously reported by well-placed sources in the tech media, the event will be held on Apple's Cupertino, California campus.

Whether or not Apple is launching the iPhone 5, or just a speed-bumped iPhone 4S, there are at least two new products going live on October 4 - iOS 5, and iCloud, as confirmed by Apple earlier this summer.

Now I turn it over over to you. What are you hoping for the most? iPhone 5 with 4-inch screen? Steve Jobs on stage? Fire away!
