Apple has updated its free Cards application which allows iDevice owners to create a virtual greeting card on their device and have it printed on paper and sent out anywhere in the world.

Cards now takes advantage of the iPad’s big screen, making it easier to customize cards with photos from your own camera roll, as well as your own text.

In version 2.0.2 more improvements are to be had. Apple has improved address verification on multi-card orders sent to recipients in different countries.

Several issues that caused the app to quit unexpectedly have been addressed, and overall performance has been improved as well.

Appel’s Cards application is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 6.0 or later. The app is optimized for iPhone 5.
