A new-generation iMac boasting the latest Intel processor and powerful NVIDIA graphics can be yours for just $999, only through Apple’s Special Deals section.

This refurbished iMac boasts a 2.5GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 CPU and a 21.5-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display. Released May 2011, the system further offers 4GB of memory, a hefty 500GB hard drive, the 8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW), and AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics with 512MB memory.

It also has the FaceTime HD camera that replaces iSight on older Macs.

It ships for free anywhere in the United States and comes with its own keyboard and mouse (Magic Mouse). The computer comes pre-installed with OS X Lion, the newest version of Apple’s desktop OS.
