14 DAY TRIAL // Apple is reportedly planning to prolong work hours for retail staffers as of April 15th, in a move that should help capitalize on the increased store traffic on Fridays.
ifoAppleStore, a source dealing exclusively with news and information about Apple’s retail stores, claims to have learned that the Cupertino, California-based computer giant is about to make some changes in its retail segment.
Specifically, “Apple will add Friday to its official list of ‘weekend days’, and full-timers must work two of those three days, or possibly a shift that includes both Saturday and Sunday,” ifo’s sources said.
According to those who are familiar with Apple’s plans, departments affected by this change include the Family Room and Red Zone Specialists, Creatives and Geniuses.
