Featuring an ‘arrivals’ banner to announce the grand opening of its newest retail store, Apple has confirmed on its web site that the new venue located in Manhattan’s (NY) Grand Central terminal will open its doors to the public this Friday.

"Apple Store, Grand Central Arriving Friday, Dec. 9, at 10 AM,” reads the split-flap made to resemble a train station display that typically shows departure or arrival information.

The venue is said to be Apple’s largest by square footage, and the company has been rumored to pay very little for the lease, though there is still some debate regarding the bottom line.

The exact address (for those who aren’t very familiar with the location) is 45 Grand Central Terminal, New York, NY 10017.

As expected, no events are scheduled for the store’s first week - only the grand opening festivities, which should nab the first 1,000 visitors a free Apple T-shirt.
