Apple has confirmed, at least on its Italian web site for now, that footage of the company’s Special event held in the Town Hall of its Cupertino campus will be live streamed.

This marks the third time Apple is generous enough to provide live streaming of its keynote events, a move that surely pleases the Apple community, whose members don’t have to wait until next day to view the recording.

A report by 9to5mac reveals that the Mac maker has issued a media alert confirming plans to live-stream today’s event, by including Apple’s original report in Italian.

As with the last event, Apple requires viewers to own either a Mac or an iOS device to view the footage. On the Mac side, Snow Leopard and Safari are required. On the iOS side, version 3.0 of the operating system is the supported minimum.

The broadcast will be available at www.apple.com.
