Apple has updated the terms and conditions of its One to One service requiring customers to start the Data Migration service within 60 days from the time of purchase.

According to the new terms, “One to One members are entitled to Data Migration services for one (1) Mac purchased from an Apple Retail Store, Apple Online Store, or 800-MY-APPLE, if requested within the first sixty (60) days of your membership, including any renewals.”

Apple outlines that the Data Migration service includes “the data transfer of files from your old computer (PC or Mac) to your Mac.”

So far customers have been able to request this data transfer at any time for a full year, or as long as a $99 / €99 One to One subscription lasts.

Additionally, Apple now asks customers to perform software installation in a Personal Training or Open Training session, where a Mac specialist is present.
