Tim Cook and John Boehner talk iPhones then sit down

Apple CEO Timothy D. Cook met with U.S. Speaker of the House of Representatives John Boehner at the U.S. Capitol yesterday.

The topic of their discussions wasn’t made public, but the two photos released on speaker.gov indicate that Mr. Boehner required some assistance with his iPhone, if only for a brief moment during their discussions.

“Speaker John Boehner met with Tim Cook, CEO of Apple Inc., at the U.S. Capitol today,” reads the official description of the image you see above. A second photo, released through John Boehner’s speaker.gov blog, depicts the public figure fiddling with his iPhone with Cook paying close attention to what he had to say.

It remains a mystery whether Boehner was showing off his protective case, or whether he was asking Cook about the camera on his Apple smartphone.
