Tim Cook is on the guest list for a roundtable discussion at the National Comprehensive Cancer Network’s annual conference, according to the NCCN’s official web site.

The NCCN Annual Conference attracts oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and other health care professionals involved in the care of patients with cancer, to discuss clinical practice guidelines and quality cancer care.

The conference also includes case study discussion forums. For these the NCCN invites experts from its Member Institutions, and holds “roundtable discussions featuring the foremost professionals from the academic, patient advocacy, government, payor, industry, and business realms of cancer care.”

Apple's chief executive officer, Timothy Cook, is listed as an “invited or confirmed panelist.” Cook may or may not be able to attend. His former boss and close friend, Steve Jobs, died in October 2011, following a long battle with a rare form of pancreatic cancer.
