14 DAY TRIAL // Apple today sent invitations to a special event scheduled on September 10 featuring the tagline “This should brighten everyone’s day.”
It doesn’t take a genius to connect the dots – in this case literally – and conclude that the invitation hints at a multi-color iPhone range, presumably the iPhone 5C which is said to sport a plastic case available in a variety of color options.
In fact, according to the latest leaks, the colors featured in the invitation are exactly the same colors that the iPhone 5C is said to have.
At the same event Apple is set to unveil the more expensive iPhone 5S, this according to another set of leaks which supports rumors that the high-end phone will also bring a new color option to the table – gold / champagne.
Other potential announcements at the event include the final version of iOS 7 and OS X Mavericks, the latest Mac OS installment.
