Apple has announced plans to conduct its next conference call to discuss financial results of its second fiscal quarter on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET. The event could fall shortly after a device unveiling.

The company headquartered at 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, CA today announced that it would disclose its financial earnings for the second fiscal quarter of 2014 on April 23, which falls on a Wednesday. The meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET.

Interested parties will be able to tune in and listen to the audio webcast using iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS 4.2 or newer, any Mac running OS X 10.5 or above, or any Windows PC running QuickTime 7 or later.

During the meeting, Tim Cook and his troops will confirm exact numbers for businesses like the iPhone, the Mac, the iPad, and the Apple TV. Sales of the iPhone will be of particular interest to investors, and so will Apple TV numbers.

In fact, it is highly probable that the company will announce a special event before the Q2 FY14 conference call, to unveil a new version of its TV box with gaming features, rumor has it. If that turns out to be true, then Apple and financial analysts will have a lot to talk about at its conference call.
