Apple has issued a formal announcement confirming the schedule for its fiscal 2011 third quarter results conference call, advising those who wish to attend to have a QuickTime-enabled platform at hand, and some spare time starting 2:00 p.m. PDT.

Although already confirmed on its QuickTime website since June, Apple is only now officially announcing the schedule for its FY 11 Third Quarter Results Conference Call which kicks off next Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. PDT/5:00 p.m. EDT.

Apple’s formal announcement, posted on the Press Info area of its website, has been reproduced below:

WHERE: Via conference call. The dial-in number for press is (888) 505-4388 (toll-free) or (719) 325-2433. Please enter confirmation code 365611. WHEN: Tuesday, July 19, 2011, 2:00 p.m. PDT/5:00 p.m. EDT

As it does every year, Apple will stream the conference call as a continuous rebroadcast beginning Tuesday, July 19 at 5:00 p.m. PDT/8:00 p.m. EDT through Tuesday, August 2 at 5:00 p.m. PDT/8:00 p.m. EDT.

Interested parties are being offered the toll-free dial-in number for the rebroadcast and a confirmation code to get prepared.

“Apple will provide live audio streaming of its FY 11 Third Quarter Results Conference Call using Apple’s industry-leading QuickTime multimedia software,” reads the announcement.

The Cupertino tech giant adds that “The live webcast will begin at 2:00 p.m. PDT on July 19, 2011 at www.apple.com/quicktime/qtv/earningsq311 and will also be available for replay for approximately two weeks thereafter,”

Systems that are able to decode the broadcast by default (without having to download and manually install QuickTime) include any iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Macintosh computer running Mac OS X.

Windows PC users who do not have their necessary Apple software installed will need to navigate to Apple’s website and download QuickTime 6 or QuickTime 7.
