The company responsible for the Mac operating system, headquartered in Cupertino, California, has announced the Second Quarter Results Conference Call for its fiscal year 2009. The conference call is scheduled to go live on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 (tomorrow), at 2:00 p.m. PDT/5:00 p.m. EDT.

According to an official report issued by Apple on Monday, the company will provide live audio streaming of its FY 09 Second Quarter Results Conference Call utilizing QuickTime multimedia software. As such, those interested in hearing how well or how bad Apple's iPods, Macs and iPhones have sold must have QuickTime installed on their computers.

“Viewers simply need a copy of QuickTime 6 or QuickTime 7 to listen to the conference call,” the company says, linking to the QuickTime 7 download page. Apple's announcement continues to outline the availability of the FY 09 Q2 Results Conference Call rebroadcast.

“The conference call will be available as a continuous rebroadcast beginning Wednesday, April 22 at 5:00 p.m. PDT/8:00 p.m. EDT through Wednesday, May 6 at 5:00 p.m. PDT/8:00 p.m. EDT. The dial-in number for the rebroadcast is (888) 203-1112 (toll-free) or (719) 457-0820. Please enter confirmation code 6117348.”

As usual, Apple also posts some legal stuff regarding its Q2 09 Conference Call, which states that, “This recording is the property of Apple and protected by U.S. copyright law and international treaties. Any reproduction or distribution is strictly prohibited without prior written approval from Apple.”
