A teaser on Apple's Online Store indicates that lots of goodies are to be had on Friday. Those considering an iPod or a Mac as a Christmas present for their loved ones are encouraged to check this campaign out.

From Apple's Online Store,

Lots of gifts. 1 day not to miss.

The special one-day Apple shopping event.

Come back to the Apple Online Store this Friday for a special one-day-only Christmas shopping event. You’ll find dozens of great iPod, iPhone and Mac gift ideas – all with free delivery.

Mark your calendars now. Until then, start your research by browsing the Apple Online Store to find iPod, iPhone, and Mac gifts for everyone on your list.

On the New Zealand Online Store, the page also offers you a box to input your email address for updates on the event, including special offers, promotions, exclusive product information and news. On the US Apple Online Store, you are greeted with the same message, with buttons being available to scroll through the gifts. Naturally, iPod engraving is still highly popular.

With Apple mentioning free delivery, you probably shouldn't hold your breath for big sales during the campaign, at least not from this company. Microsoft's Mac Business Unit has already announced 75-percent-off pricing on its Office 2008 for Mac: Special Media Edition suite, during the Black Friday sales period.

Other Black Friday deals include computer accessories priced $9.99 and up, such as the Logitech QuickCam Communicate Deluxe; the Gigaware wireless laser mouse with ultra-compact dongle; the  HP Photosmart multifunction printer/copier/scanner; the Dell 17-inch flat panel monitor, and the Coby 19-inch widescreen LCD digital monitor, according to Macnn. We'll be detailing these in separate articles.

In the meanwhile, “start your research” on the Apple Online Store.
