The company again portrays PC as the worst choice a customer could make

Apple has started airing three new commercials in its ongoing successful Get a Mac campaign. The three ads can be immediately viewed over at Apple's website, under the Mac section, along with older Get a Mac ads going way back to 2006.

The latest three spots, PC Choice Chat, Elimination, and Customer Care, feature the same two lovable characters we've become so accustomed to – Mac and PC, as well as additional ones portraying an undecided customer, some of PCs low-specced, highly insecure friends, and a Mac Genius.

PC Choice Chat portrays PC as a radio show host answering calls on PC-related topics. The funny character quickly gets into his usual temperamental mood as callers ask which solution is the most virus-proof PC solution, or how they can get great customer support like Apple does with its Mac Geniuses. He eventually ends up “blowing up” one of his listeners after learning that the long-time PC user is considering switching to Mac.

Elimination, Apple's second ad in order of appearance, starts off with Mac, PC, a girl named Megan (customer) and a bunch of PC-guys. As the ad progresses, viewers learn that PC has brought more PC versions to help Megan find the right choice. As usual, PC is prone to feeling even more frustrated as Megan's demands for a secure, fast and reliable computing solution cannot be met by the entire pack of PCs.

Customer Care, Apple's third and latest ad, kicks off with PC, Mac and a Mac Genius, whom PC despises knowing he doesn't have one. He can't even get himself to admit his customers are quite frustrated just because Microsoft doesn't offer this level of (you guessed it) customer care.

Softpedia note: we shouldn't even be mentioning this, but Apple too is far from perfect, when it comes to taking care of its customers. A great example is the ever-cracking White (polycarbonate) MacBook, whose issues are only now being appropriately addressed.
