
Apple is preparing for the school shopping season, and has launched a new 'Back To School' promotion with an offer that is hard to refuse.
The pitch is pretty good, get a new Mac and you get a free iPod nano… Students and teachers that buy a Mac by September 16, 2006 will get a free iPod nano after mail-in rebate. Alternatively, any other iPod may be chosen for big savings after mail-in rebate.
Apple's "Back to School" promotion page reads: "Buy a qualifying Mac and an iPod from Apple or a participating Apple Authorized Campus Reseller from June 5, 2006, through September 16, 2006, and receive a mail-in rebate up to $179."
