Appalatch might look like your regular clothing online shop, but it has a product you won’t be finding in most designer lines.

The outdoor apparel company is offering customers 3D printed sweaters, which I have to say look pretty fantastic. 3D printing might seem something taken out of an Asimov novel, but the process has been becoming quite widespread lately, in multiple domains.

How does it work? Basically a scanner copies an item and through a complex process prints out a 3D model that can actually be used in real life.

Usually a combination of powder is used to produce the copy, but in the case of these awesome sweaters, 100% organic cotton was used. And because they are printed, users can customize them at any size, so it doesn't matter if you’re skinny or curvaceous, you’ll be able to fit in them.

Anyway, the Appalatch sweaters are available in multiple colors and can be bought for $100 / €73 a pop.
