The AppStore has 3 different charts: Top Paid Apps, Top Free Apps and Top Grossing. In there, you are going to see new apps all the time. All the movers and shakers are present in those charts, and if you want to discover new ones, you know you can find the best apps of the moment.

How about apps that are great, were in the charts but do not have enough downloads to make them show up at number one? The App Store Editors have fixed that problem with a new selection.

"10 Apps That Wow" is a bundle containing exactly what you would imagine: the top ten apps than any iOS user needs to have on his iPhone. It doesn't really matter if you use them or not. Download them, put them in a folder and keep them handy when you show someone what your iOS device can do.

The selection has everything from creating blockbuster movie effects to instantly translating foreign languages, finding your dream vacation and get the best looking and most precise weather forecast.

First one up is the newly designed Airbnb. This free app has an awesome idea behind it because it opens the door to the world's most interesting places. You can browse rooms that are offered for tourists, not in hotels but in real homes. Their database has thousands of places to stay in more than 34,000 cities and you can book them with just a tap. Imagine you could be spending two nights in Paris right across the street from the Eiffel Tower, and you don't have to pay for an expensive hotel, but you could stay with a nice young couple, in their spare bedroom.

Airbnb also offers a way for renters to manage their listings and find new guests easier.

Dark Sky is the app that inspired other developers to break the look and feel of Weather apps that were similar to the default iOS ones. It comes with a price tag of $3.99 (€2.99) and it doesn't work anywhere else in the world. However, if you are in the area that it covers (U.S., U.K., and Ireland), this app is precise enough to let you know if it will rain where you are within an hour.

Action Movie FX is an app created by the world famous director and movie producer J.J. Abrams. It has already won the "Apple's App of the Year" award in 2012 and it has got no opponent since then. This app lets you take a short video clip and overlaps amazing video effects on top of that. So you can just show everyone how an UFO landed in your backyard or a tornado destroyed your neighborhood.

Check out all the apps in this selection and grab them all for less than $3 (€2.25).
