Parents whose offspring are using iPhones and iPads for fun and studying have a new App Store section to browse and choose apps from.

The new Kids category (iTunes link) just went live this week with the emergence of iOS 7, Apple’s latest and greatest mobile OS. Accessible both from an iOS device as well as from the desktop version of the iTunes Store (via iTunes 11), the new Kids category is broken down into several sub-sections.

These include titles for ages 5 and under, ages 6-8, and ages 9-11. There are also apps listed by Collection, Brand, and even Games for Kids.

As you’d expect, the Kids category is full of fun and color, but I’ll be honest with you: almost every title listed on the main page is a paid app.
