Aphelion Episode 2: Wings of Omega is a video game developed by Lunatic Studios and released on the Xbox 360 console as part of the Xbox Live Indie Games Uprising, being the sequel to the first Aphelion Episode 1: Graves of Earth, and released on December 19, 2010.
Aphelion Episode 2: Wings of Omega is still a role playing game, like its predecessor, in which gamers reprise the role of Savion Mercarte, picking up right from where Episode 1 left off, as Savion and his allies need to battle legions of enemies to find out the true attack of Earth. The game included a variety of new features like better AI, improved animations, stylized cut scenes, a teleportation system and faster paced combat and dungeon systems.
HINTS
Stealing
Most enemies seem to have a number of items, but if you fail three times in a row, move on.
Leveling
- Because Aphelion's save points automatically fill up your party's HP and EN, remain close to them. Go all out with the techniques because they are usually powerful and help build up the combo meter. The higher the combo number is, the more powerful your attacks are. Save the game often, because a few bad turns may end up killing your party and requiring a restart from the last save. It is a good idea to grind an area where it will take five or less encounters to level up. Note: You may want to keep grinding until it takes requires than ten battles to level.
- The Crimson Ship is a great place to level up, but be prepared for some very impressive damage. In the first area of the ship, you will encounter one enemy at a time. You are able to use the "Crippling Toxin" glitch without too much of a chance of freezing the game. You should get a little over 13,000 experience points per battle. The second area of the ship will throw two enemies at a time at you; do not use the glitch here. It is recommended that you remain at the first area, because the second area encounters usually results in about 20,000 experience points and takes longer.
