A new version of Apple’s professional photography software Aperture is available packing a number of fixes, including two that relate to memory card usage.

Aperture users who are experiencing problems with the app when deleting items from a camera or memory card after import are encouraged to install Aperture 3.4.5. The update patches this issue, as well as another error causing memory cards to fail to eject.

“Memory cards are now ejected correctly when using the Delete Items option after import,” says Apple.

The update further includes stability improvements and requires OS X Lion 10.7.5 or OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 or later. The Aperture 3.4.5 DMG is a hefty one, weighing in at 523.15 MB.

Supported languages include Deutsch, English, Français, Chinese, and Japanese.
