Apache: Air Assault Unlockables, Hints and Achievements (Xbox 360)

Apache: Air Assault is a video game created by Gaijin Entertainment and published by Activision for platforms like the PC, PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, released on November 16, 2010, as a new type of combat flight simulator, similar to other titles like IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey, but focused, like its name suggests, on helicopters instead of fighter jets.

Apache: Air Assault tasks players with completing several types of missions using a variety of Apache helicopters, including models like the Boeing AH-64D Longbow Apache, Agusta Westland AH Mk 1 Apache or the Northrop Grumman MQ-8B Fire Scout, each with their different characteristics, and can be customized with different decals or control layouts, depending on the preferences of the player.

HINTS

Lord Of War: Easy completion
On the third mission, "Lord Of War", one of the objectives is to provide cover fire for your downed ally. This can be difficult with the frequent RPG fire you will draw from the enemy infantry. However, if you use your missiles to destroy the surrounding buildings where most of the infantry spawn, you will have a much easier time. You can easily shoot the enemies with the FLIR view as they spawn, before they have a chance to move. This is also useful because many of the RPG soldiers fire from the rooftops. Clearing out the buildings will significantly decrease the amount of RPG shots taken at you.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Complete the following achievements to unlock Xbox Live Gamerscore points.

- Flying Colors (5 points): Complete "Takeoff" mission.
- Locksmith (15 points): Unlock all chapters.
- Wave Goodbye (10 points): Complete a specific mission objective in The Sky is Burning.
- Bridge Burner (20 points): Complete a specific mission objective in Whiteout in Local Co-op mode.
- Radio Silenced (10 points): Complete a specific mission objective in Over and Out.
