Apacer seems to be quite keen on releasing ultra-portable storage solutions designed specifically to draw the customers' attention with their “blingy” look, because they've just outed yet another product of this type, the AH129 Limited Edition flash drive.
The AH129 design is not exactly a very new one, as it's been around for quite some time now, but it seems that it has enjoyed a high-enough level of success in order for the company to come up with a worthy successor, and in a limited edition, nonetheless.
The Limited Edition version is as blingy as
flash drives can get, featuring a glossy metallic body with a fuchsia coating, as well as a bead chain and limited decorative sparkling crystal.
Moreover, in order to help users accessorize their other gadgets, the AH129 Limited Edition flash
drive from Apacer is also accompanied by six free style gem stickers, featuring all sorts of colorful and eye-catching designs.
In terms of actual hardware, we'll have to point out that the device is available in some rather entry-level storage capacities, ranging between 4GB and 16GB, that, nevertheless, should prove to be quite enough for this storage solutions' specific target segment.
Another interesting detail worth mentioning here is that, according to Apacer, their flash drive employs Chip On Board (COB) technology, enabling the device to have a very small size (32.85 mm length x 17 mm width x 5.5 mm height).
Last, but no least, we'll mention that the AH129 also comes equipped with a retractable USB connector, while in the same time being water and dust-proof, which means that there's really no limit as far as its usability is concerned.
Sadly, Apacer's official release doesn't provide any info on just how much this limited edition will cost, nor just how many flash drives from the AH129 Limited Edition will be manufactured.
