Meanwhile, Weiner continues to attempt damage control, is too little successful

Despite the most recent wave of controversy and scandal, Anthony Weiner is not dropping out of the race to be Mayor of New York, but his campaign manager already did, as ABC News reports.

Weiner, who was forced to retire from politics in 2011 after news broke that he had sent private and revealing photos of himself to various women online, is again in the headlines for the same reason.

He still believes he stands a chance in the mayoral race, even if his campaign manager clearly doesn’t. Or, as ABC News puts it, he might as well run since he has nothing to lose.

However, if he’s so determined to remain in the public eye, Mr. Weiner would better get accustomed to finding himself in situations like the one above: during a recent appearance, he was pretty much cornered by a retired teacher.

Check it out. The woman clearly wants to know what moral authority Weiner has to stand in front of people and ask for their vote when perhaps most of those people have seen him in ways they never wanted to see him in, and he’s clearly refusing to answer the question.
