Antec's Six Hundred chassis for gaming PCs has become quite well-known among the hardware enthusiasts and power users (not to mention hardcore gamers), and for this reason, the company's decided to put it through somewhat of a slight facelift, the result being the Six Hundred V2 model, that adds quite a few interesting features to the original version.
The Six Hundred V2 case sports a bottom-mounted power supply, whose position reduces the generated heat and overall level of noise, as well as a perforated front bezel that delivers a very good level of air intake.
And since we're on the topic of cooling, we'll have to mention that the enclosure sports one top 200mm TriCool blue LED fan, one rear 120mm TwoCool blue LED fan, while users can also add, should they desire to do so, 2 x front 120mm fans for HDDs and 1 x side 120mm fan for graphics cards (optional).
The case also sports a CPU cutout that allows for easy installation of CPU coolers, a windowed side panel with optional fan mount and a cable management compartment.
Moreover, the Antec Six Hundred V2 supports Mini-ITX, microATX, Standard ATX cards, as well as video cards reaching a maximum size of 11.5 inches/292mm.
Plus, in terms of storage, the case can house 6 x internal 3.5" HDDs, 3 x external 5.25" HDDs, one internal bottom-mounted 2.5" SSD drive and an external front-loaded hot swap 3.5" SATA HDD caddy.
Last, but certainly not least, we'll have to mention that the case comes equipped with 3 x USB 2.0 ports and Audio (AC'97 and HDA compatible) In and Out jacks, while also taking quite a bit of space around the house, since it measures 491mm x 212mm x 492mm.
Despite providing such an advanced set of features, pricing for the new case is not exactly very high, as it's set to sell for around 110 US dollars.
