It is made for gamers that like to listen to music from their speaker systems

A new gaming case has been released, one that, like its peers, does its best to balance usability with aesthetic value and sound shielding. It is called Nineteen Hundred and was made by Antec.

In all honesty, you probably won't think this case is much more desirable than all the other cases in the $280 - $200 range / €280 – 300.

Why? Because if you're a gamer that spends hours in front of your monitor, you probably have a headset with good noise canceling, so it doesn't matter how loud your desktop it.

Still, if you use a surround system instead, or just have hardware that sounds like an airplane even at low fan settings, the Antec Nineteen Hundred could be what you need, since it has dual-layer panel construction.

That means that even if you have noisy graphics cards and CPU coolers, not much of the sound will escape the case.

That should actually hold true even when you factor in the included six fans (120 mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) front-intake fans, two 120 mm FDB top-exhaust fans and one 120mm FDB rear-exhaust fan).

"The Nineteen Hundred builds on Antec's popular Gaming case design with even more cooling and capacity," said Jérôme François, Antec's European sales director.

"With the Nineteen Hundred, we deliver an outstanding case for all gamers and PC builders looking for the best and biggest capacities."

Speaking of capacities, there is room for much storage capacity, seeing as how the SECC steel Antec Nineteen Hundred case boasts 17 drive bays, as well as nine expansion slots and an advanced GPU cooling system.

There's even a separate compartment at the bottom, for the power supply and some of those drive trays. Add to that the red or green border light strips on the front panel and Antec really doesn't seem to have missed anything. All for a price of €284 / $284.
