Another Teen Mom Gets Implants: Maci Bookout

Being on MTV’s “Teen Mom” reality show can be a launching pad just like any other reality show out there. Maci Bookout plans to use her experience to make a career – and she’s starting by working on her appearance.

As we also noted a while back, though the goal of the show may be noble – in that it aims to show it’s better to wait to have a child because teen pregnancy and motherhood are no walks in the park – there’s no denying there’s a lot of money to be made from it.

Amber Portwood, for instance, makes $280,000 a year from the show, and it is believed the other teen moms are not that far behind.

Maci Bookout invested some of that money in breast augmentation because, Life & Style says, she plans to build herself a career and, since this is showbiz we’re talking about, looks are important.

“Maci Bookout is best known for documenting her struggles as a young mother on the MTV series Teen Mom, but the 19-year-old has also taken some time for herself – by getting a [breast] job,” the magazine writes.

She hasn’t yet revealed her new and improved body but, if the other Teen Mom stars are any indication, she’ll probably do so with a staged (and paid) photo-op at the beach, it is being said.

“Maci did have breast-enlargement surgery,” an unnamed friend of the reality star says for the aforementioned publication.

“The reality star, who appears to have gone from an A-cup to a C-cup, is determined to stay noticed these days,” Life & Style notes.

“She has also hired a Hollywood agent and plans to write a book. The topic? Being a teen mother, of course,” says the mag.

If this report is accurate and Maci did go under the knife for an augmentation, she wouldn’t be the only one either: Farrah Abraham unveiled her “overhauled” body last month on a beach outing.

She too went from an A to a C cup, as we also noted at the time.
