Eric Wright Jr., aged 22, son of one of the founder members of the gangsta-rap group NWA, Eazy-E, was detained this weekend for possession of a pistol.
The car was pulled over for a regular check-up in Compton and the three youngsters present in the car had to be taken downtown. The two police officers performed a search of the vehicle and discovered that Lil' Eazy-E was concealing a weapon in it, for which he obviously had no permit.
The two other men that where accompanying him were also charged with possession of a fireweapon and probation violation. No names were disclosed to the public as to their identity.
This comes as a PR shock to the young rapper, who had just released his first album, 'Prince of Compton', earlier this year. Or, maybe, he will get even more publicity... It wouldn't be the first case of this type!
