The iPad mini 2, an upcoming revision to Apple’s diminutive tablet computer, will ship in multiple colors, according to several leaks from Australian teenager Sonny Dickson.

In a recent tweet, Sonny shows a close-up shot of the Space Gray aluminum back shell of the iPad mini 2. The hardware seems to be identical to the original iPad mini, as far as the design is concerned.

According to Sonny, the iPad mini 2 will have the same A7 chip as the iPhone 5s, as well as the cool new Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

Pundits say Apple will most likely equip the diminutive tablet PC with a much needed Retina display this year.

Sonny also revealed some iPad 5 details today, including the (hopefully accurate) fact that it will boast 2GB of RAM.
