Aaron Bale, better known as AnonForecast, has been reportedly raided by the FBI in connection to OpRedRoll, the KnightSec campaign initiated after a number of high school students of Steubenville, Ohio, were accused of abusing a young girl.

According to a report from The RadioNewz Blog, the FBI raided Bale’s house on June 20.

Bale wasn’t arrested or charged, but the agents did seize several of his belongings, including his computer, a phone that doubles as a medical device, a journal, CDs, and outdated computer repair equipment.

“Aaron Bale has not had any involvement whatsoever with KnightSec or OpRedRoll and had actually been publicly outspoken in not supporting the project because the [abuse] trials had not even taken place yet,” reads a statement allegedly written by a lawyer.

The agents apparently attempted to convince him that Deric Lostutter – who is currently preparing his legal defense in case he might be charged for his role in the Steubenville case – has been collaborating with them on the case.

“Mr. Bale appears to have been raided as part of a ‘fishing expedition’ by the FBI. He may also have been raided because he also happens to live in Kentucky, where KYAnonymous/ Deric Lostutter resides, although Aaron Bale does not know Mr. Lostutter and has had no dealings with him,” the lawyer added.
