'Johnny and Vanessa are planning to finally get married next summer at their villa. It will be a private event rather than a showbiz extravaganza', the 'Daily Express' spy says.

This would not be Depp's first attempt at reaching marital bliss. In the past, he was in a very short lived marriage to Lori Anne Allison (back in the '80s) and was almost on the verge of getting hitched twice: once with fiancée Winona Ryder and then with another fiancée, Jennifer Grey from 'Dirty Dancing'.
