The Live 8 organizers announced that an extra 55,000 free concert tickets are to be made available for the people to watch the event on giant screens. The details will be revealed by the Live 8 co-ordinator Bob Geldof on Monday.
"This is going to be the biggest event in Hyde Park's history and the biggest ticketed event ever in the UK," said Geldof in a statement.
"The park will be filled to the brim. In other cities around the country and around the world millions of people will be joining in to make poverty history," he said. "It will be one of those defining moments that come around once in a generation."
Giant screens are being set up in 14 other cities across the UK to watch the London concert. "If you don't have tickets don't come to Hyde Park; go to one of the other screens around the country or better yet get up to Edinburgh and make your voice heard," a spokesman said.
