Known for her battle with anorexia during the 17th edition of the reality show 'MTV The Real World: Key West', Meronek got herself arrested Sunday night for biting her boyfriend several times on his arms and legs during a domestic quarrel.

Paula Ann shares her home in Cromwell, Connecticut, with her 24-year-old boyfriend John Alyward.

Apparently, the two had a very serious and loud fight Sunday evening (no information is available as to its causes) and the 25-year-old Meronek left the house only to return later that same night.

Because she forgot her keys at home, she waited patiently at the door. After some time, John also returned but simply refused to let his girlfriend in. He opened the door and tried to keep Paula Ann outside.

Enraged and fighting to gain admittance into her own residence, the former cast member for MTV put her teeth to good use and started biting his arms and legs. She still didn't get in, though.

The boyfriend locked her outside and phoned the police, who arrived at about 3 a.m and arrested the troublesome lovers. Paula spent the rest of the night in jail and was released Monday on bond. Her trial, filed under charges of third degree assault, starts on August 11 and, if found guilty, she might spend up to one year in jail. John was also charged for denying and blocking Meronek's entry into what is her legal residence.

Unfortunately, the MTV reality show that deals with approximately the same issue (how do 7 total strangers share the same house), won't be able to cover the biting incident, as filming for its 17th edition has ended. A representative for MTV said that Meronek's arrest will not affect the program, no matter the outcome of the trial.
