The hackers want the government to stop using violence against demonstrators

Anonymous hackers have published another video message addressed to the government of Turkey. The hacktivists demand that the government puts an end to corruption and the use of violence against peaceful demonstrators.

“You have created a system which ensures the poor remain poor and the wealthy remain wealthy. It is now very clear to us that you have no intention of running the country for the people, but you will continue to run it for your own personal interest,” the hackers said.

The statement comes shortly after prosecutors announced charging 36 Gezi protesters with terrorism.

Hackers of Turkey’s RedHack group have approved the message. It’s probably safe to say that the hacktivists will continue to target the Turkish government in 2014. No immediately plans have been announced.
