I think this is kinda funny. Some secret group of super greedy elites rules the world?

The way the world is set up, this is *already* how the world is run, and they don't do it in secret. They have no reason to hide behind some shadowy cabal called the Illuminati when capitalism itself does the job just fine by protecting the elite and vesting them with unlimited power and wealth as a part of our soceity's core laws and values.

Which is more likely? That there's some secret society of the super rich and elite conspiring for their evil ways, or that this cabal is just the "captains of capitalism" being their greedy selves, manipulating the innocent for their own self-interest the same that rich people have done forever?

There's no need for the Illuminati when the US government already calls corporations people and congress is already in their pockets...

anyone heard of the " J-Curve " ( i think it's called ) where the most likely scenario when a dictatorship falls is that it's replaced by a new dictatorship for quick stability....beware anonymous so you don't become the monster you are fighting.

The Illuminati is a straw man of the Right. By making otherwise able people chase after phony conspiracies, they keep people from going after real goals and constructive activity.

If you'd look into history, not Alex Jones, you'd find that the real Bavarian Illuminati would have gladly joined with Anonymous, not opposed them. The Illuminati liked 'smashing bastards', they were extremely against any kind of tyrant, and The New World Order was one of anti-clerical enlightenment and democracy.
