Tunisia’s Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali learned firsthand what it was like to be targeted by the most feared hacktivist community in the world. Anonymous hackers managed to gain unauthorized access to his email account and published his emails, totaling 2,725.

Magharebia reports that the attack took place on April 8 and it was part of an operation called OpTunisiaBack, meant as a form of counterattack against the Tunisian government, which is blamed for violence against protestors and for closing an eye on the abuses carried out by Salafists.

“We decided to publish classified documents of the Ennahda Movement, including personal email addresses, telephone numbers and bank transactions, in addition to financial receipts from during the movement's election campaign,” the hackers stated.

However, the hacktivists claim that they still stand on large amounts of secret information, which they plan on publishing in case the government doesn’t respect the freedom of expression and human rights.
