Anonymous has sent a message to the Brazilian government, accusing them of launching some projects that affect the environment.

Anonymous, along with Iberoamerica (the group’s South American faction) and Operation Green Rights united their forces to stop the government from building a “mega-dam” on the Xingu river in north Brazil.

The hackers claim that the indigenous Kayapo people will suffer due to their projects that will “cause irreparable damage.”

“Our protest will persist until you put an end to this dam’s construction and we will continue to fight against anyone who persecute South America’s ethnic groups. We are monitoring every part involved in the project,” the hackers state.

In the first days of 2012, Anonymous members from all over the world began launching threats against governments, condemning their actions and the corruption that takes place in their institutions.
